50% Grant funding for Liverpool Childrens Charity

Kinds'  S.E.E.D (Social Environmental Education Development) centre is already an award winning sustainable building, featuring solar photovoltaics (for electricity generation), solar thermal (for hot water), rainwater harvesting and an Air source heat pump.  Eco Environments have been asked to install two further solar photovoltaic arrays, and a rainwater harvesting system for the older parts of the building.  This installation is 50% funded through the Low Carbon Buildings Programme- Phase 2. Any charity, school, religious organisation or not for profit group can apply for this funding through an MCS accredited installer.

Founded by Stephen Yip, MBE in 1975, KIND is a children’s charity that believes in the importance of investing in the future-our children. Every year, they work with thousands of children, young people and their families across Liverpool and greater Merseyside, pioneering new and imaginative ways to help them cope with many forms of disadvantage.
