There are significant grants and interest free loans available to both householders and commercial businesses for the installation of microgeneration systems, insulation and other energy efficient improvements. The situation does change from time to time, and there can sometimes be additional localised grants available in different regions.  We can help you research what is available.

As an example though here are some of the current financial support packages;

• The Carbon Trust offer interest free loans to businesses (less than £50 million turnover) of between £5,000 to £100,000, repayable over four years.
• ECA- Enhanced Capital Allowances - 100 per cent first-year Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECA) allow the full cost of an investment in designated energy-saving plant and machinery to be written off against the taxable profits of a business for the period in which the investment is made.
• Low Carbon Buildings Programme- Householders can apply for grants of up to £2,500 per property towards the cost of installing a certified product by a certified installer.
• Charities, educational facilities and not-for-profits are eligible for up to 50% grants for solar and wind power, also through the Low Carbon Buildings Programme.
• There are grants available from the private sector and lottery bodies specifically for community groups, not-for-profits and charities, including O2 It's your Community , The Co-Operative Bank, BRE Community Awards, and E-on
• **NEW**  Find out what grants, loans and financial support is available to help you or your business go green with the GREEN GRANTS MACHINE. You will need to register but it is very quick to do and free.

We are also able to provide tax efficient leasing terms to businesses and property companies, on a range of products, including solar power. This enables you to install your equipment without an upfront cost, and pay back over a fixed period, utilising some of your cost savings. Once the lease is paid, the equipment is yours.
